Quizzes.

I love♥ to take quizzes on facebook when I am bored. they are just funn!

Book.

So I just read this book Maybe a Miracle by: Brian Strause.
(well actually I read it maybe a week and a half ago. but that's besides the point.)

& in some books I read yes there are a few references to things i don't necessarily approve of, but it's a book I don't have to like everything about it.

So this guy named Monroe Anderson saves his little sister, Annika, from drowning in his families' swimming pool. Or better yet he dives in the pool to save her when he finds her floating in it. Everyone says he's a hero, but his sister is in a coma. She is totally out of it. His mom thinks God will take care of her daughter so she turns to her religious beliefs (e.g. Catholicism.). While Monroe's dad turns to drinking and cheating on his wife. (sorry a little bit of a spoiler there.) Monroe was just all over the place trying to believe God will help his sister then not believing it, but truly all he really wants is his sister to just wake up. While Annika is in a coma, she is said to be a "healer" or some sort. Her hands even bleed in the palms & people think she is bearing the pain for the world. (like Jesus Christ did.) People come from around the globe thinking that she can heal them of cancer, carpal tunnel, & other diseases. Though normally someone in a coma for two+ years would be considered a vegetable, the Anderson family won't let that happen to Annika.

So if you think that this book is something you'll like, then go pick it up & read it....
or you can e-mail me and I'll tell you the ending.

What can I say?

Twitter.

So last week or so, I finally got a twitter... I see all over myspace bands, and the celebs says follow me on twitter, so I thought what the heck I'll give it a try. So I made a twitter account. Laaurashook15. find me! or whatever.
I haven't really figured out what to do yet, so don't expect much.
Just like my blog, my twitter is just a work in progress.
What can I say?

Ok.

So in the past few seconds I've realized that my blog sucks, and my computer is wayy too slow.
People my 19 year old brother just recently moved back in, and he's all goo goo over his xbox 360 and how he wants it to be hooked up to xbox live...yadda yadda yadda. well he made our internet wireless and he's all the computer's faster & it'll be great!
GUESS WHAT FOLKS....I THINK IT SUCKS.
if I haven't said this before I am totally addicted to farmtown on facebook. (yeah. I know.) but since we got the wireless connection, it's been running really slow. well my entire summer i've been on farmtown just a planting and plowing. but in the past few days, I haven't been able to do it as fast. and in this world or farmtown's virtual world "Time is Money!" you gotta be fast, and good at what you do.

What can I say?

Well to tell you the truth.

I don't think anyone is looking at my blog. :( kinda makes me a little bit sad. I did all this work trying to get it up and running, & no one wants to read, I am mean I can't blame them, it's nothing compared to the other blogs out there. but I guess it is just nice to know that someone is looking, & as of right now I don't think anyone is. :(
so to make me feel better plzzz someone leave a comment....I don't even care if you say my blog sucks...I just need a comment or something!

(great now I am begging.)

Ha.

ONE MORE DAY TIL VACATION.

Saturday, August 1, 2009

Omg.

I absolutely adore this picture!

2 more days.

Vacation is only two days away! we're going to my grandparents house in Alabama. even though I've been there for like 3 weeks already this summer, I can't wait to go back. My grandparents house is like my home away from home. It has a big yard, a pool, and in my opinion the most beautiful dirt road ever! yea people I did say dirt road, but not just not any dirt road. A red dirt road, the kind of road that gets stuck on the bottom of your shoes when it's wet and you track it all in the house. People may say that they live in the boondocks, but I'm not hard to please. I'm just a small town girl, living in a lonely world. (Journey Reference.) (that last statement would be true if I lived in a small town. Memphis isn't really considered small?) I just can't wait to go home!
