If you are a a movie person like me, you of course remember the Disney movie Alice in Wonderland. how could you not? that movie was awesome. That great movie was originally Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, a book written by Lewis Carroll (real name Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.) published in 1865. well now that it's 2009 it's about time someone did something new with Alice! and who's better to do it than Tim Burton? The wickedly odd styling of Tim Burton include: Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman (the older ones.), Sweeney Todd, Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, and now to add to that list Alice in Wonderland.
Cast:
Anne Hathaway as the white queen.
Helena Bonham Carter as the red queen.
Krispin Glover as the knave of hearts.
Mia Wasikowska as Alive Kingsley.
Johnny Depp, who has been in other Burton films like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands, and Sweeney Todd, is playing none other than the Mad Hatter! (yay!)
To me this new Alice looks extremely weird, but I kinda like it, a murky twist on a children's book and movie. The movie comes out in March 2010, and I can't wait to see it!
