I can't help but notice that everywhere I go kids are always "getting high" or drinking. Honestly? I am a teen too, so I know about all that peer pressure junk. But what I can't see is why people would want to get drunk, if I am going to party then I want to be able to remember how much funn I had, I don't want to feel like crap in the morning puking my guts up, and I definitely don't want to wake up to who the heck are you?
& the "getting high" part...I really don't understand. If you want a high or a thrill, then go skydiving or something. Yes. Skydiving could possibly kill you, but at least you won't have to suffer from lung cancer after you smoked all that pot. I know we are just kids, & we should be living it up, but can't we just live without putting ourselves at a greater risk of death?
People die everyday because of the decisions we make whether it be to drink and drive or to get high & just do the unthinkable.

Your Brain on Drugs.
If none of this means anything to you, then think about all of the supposedly musical icons that abused drugs &/or alcohol. Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Micheal Jackson, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, & so many more people that young people are supposed to look up to? & what did they get from all this... an early, untimely death!
