Long Day Ahead.

Waking up too early for a teenager can cause serious harm. Doesn't
anyone know that? But here's what we gotta do today.
1. Clean my bedroom. Per the requests of my father.

2. Clean my bathroom. Per requests of my brother, with whom I share
the bathroom with.

3. Clean the gameroom. Because it's dirty.

4. Finish my schoolwork.

5. Lunch with mom.

6. Pick up holly from school.

7. Laundry.

Yeah. And now I wander why I'm still laying in bed blogging. Lol best

Favorite Quote.

Lucas: Have you ever wondered what marks our time here? If one life can really make an impact on the world...or if the choices we make matter? I believe they do. And I believe that one man can change many lives. For better...or worse.
Keith: Just breathe, Lucas. It's all gonna be okay.

Christmas Memories.

Somethings you will never remember, others you will never forget. Christmas memories are something you should always remember. Like waiting up for Santa to come but always falling asleep before he got there. Or opening presents in your pajamas. Or my favorite putting up the Christmas tree with the people you love the most. Remember these things when you're feeling blue or when times are tough. They'll make you laugh. Hopefully :)

This is the new me.

I feel alone. For the first time in my life. I can't explain this
really but I'll try. I do everything I can to be a good friend. I
listen to your problems and give you the best advice that I can. And I
get absolutely nothing in return. I was there for you when your loved
one died and now you won't help me find closure with mine. I need to
do this because it's what's in my heart and I'm not sure that you'd
understand. I'm not even sure if you'd try to understand right now.
But I'm doing this with or without you. I'd rather it be with you but
you made this decision. So have fun because I'm not who I used to be
anymore this is the new me.

Thinking of you.

So do you ever think about your loved ones that have passed on? My
grandpa died about 4years ago and I think about him almost everyday.
He had alzheimers for about 9 years, then it took him. My grandma took
care of him until she literally couldn't anymore. When my papaw died
i guess i resented my grandmother because she wanted to be happy with
someone else. I told myself that I hated her for it. But really she
had just hurt me so much that i couldn't take it. :( but as I was
thinking about my papaw i realiZed he wouldn't like how I treated my
grandma. So I got over it. Cause that's what papaw would have wanted.
I loved him and I still do and I always wil! :) and I'll see him again
someday. but for now I'll just wait and think of him everyday; cause
that's all I can do.

Crazy Cat Freak.

Today I learned that there is a crazed fan of Miley Cyrus' that is saying she is going to kill her cat & eat it if Miley doesn't open a new twitter account. Bitch even has her own website! http://www.mileysavefuzzy.com/

I am appalled to say the least! This person has just lost it. I am trying everything I can to try and stop her. But I am only one person, so I am asking for everyone's help. I haven't figured out how to save fuzzy just yet, but I am going to try my hardest. I could care less about Miley Cyrus, but Fuzzy is a pet that doesn't deserve to die, because it's owner is a dumb ass.
Thing's I've done to help Fuzzy:
1. I have sent an e-mail to the crazed fan. (check it out here.)

2. I have contacted Peta to find out what they can do.

3. I've tweeted.

4. This Blog should get some views. I hope.
5. I have contacted Micheal Buckley from What the Buck! - his youtube video is how I found out.

6. I'm working on trying to find out where this fan is from & if what she is doing is indeed a crime.
I'm doing everything I can to help this cat. It sounds dumb when you think about it, but this Crazy Bitch needs to be stopped. If you have any ideas please contact me. Or you can send the Crazed Fan your hate mail here.

Oh Snap!

Sorry Guys, I know I've been neglecting my blog for a couple of weeks. but with my schoolwork, my friends, deer season, and Halloween coming up...My life has been hectic.
-School is going great, I'm alittle behind, but I'm 100% to blame for that, but it's not anything that I can get done in a few hours if I'd just sit still long enough to do it.
-My Friends are good, I'm alittle upset that I don't get to see some of them as much as I'd like, but that's cool. it's not 100% my fault.
-Deer Season has started but Saturday, that same day as Halloweeen, is juvenile hunt, which my dad insists I go to, the only bummer I can't go to the DC vs. Southaven game which is my old school and their biggest rival. poo! :( & I might not make it back it time for our annual SPD Haunted House...I've spent every waking moment at the station trying to make things happen. (their will be pictures soon!)
here is a poster I made for the Haunted House. It's going to be splattered in Blood. tehe! :)

cool huh?
peace. ☼

I'm Learning Spanish.

So in addition to being home schooled; I am also taking Spanish! At my old high school you can't take a language course until 11th grade. All of my friends think I am crazy, because I try speaking it as regularly as I can. That means no English for me! There's a catch...I've only been taking it for two weeks now & I barely know anything, so my communication skills are little to nothing. Soon enough I'll being able to speak Spanish fluently. Can't wait for that day! peace!

Economy Friendly Manicures!

with the economy like it is, some people have stopped getting their nails done. to me it's a waste of money because you can do it yourself at home. the other night I was sitting in my room watching project runway when it hit me TAPE. I taped the almost to the very ends of my nails, painted the tips white, removed the tape & painted over it with clear nail hardener. My nails look good, & if I would have taken the time to do them better they would look like I just stepped out of the salon.

Tweeting Conversations.

funny story.

I was answering #questions on twitter....like always. and this guy asked why a hair loss company would follow him on twitter. I said maybe it's for in the future if your hair does fall out. he replied saying if his hair fell out he'd jump in front of a bus. I told him I'd hate to be the on scraping him off the front of a bus later on. we don't talk too much anymore. I'm totally ok with that. (fyi guys it's ok if your hair falls out.)    :)

Tweeting Conversations.

So the other day, I was on twitter answering some #questions. & this girl was like: IF I EAT 2 MANY SUNFLOWER SEEDS AND DRINK A LOT OF WATER WILL I BE OK? ok me being the person that I am I started thinking ok this stupid head thinks she'll grow some sunflowers in her stomach. :) so I replied to her saying: yeah. there isn't a sun in your stomach so there is no chance of them growing. turns out she was just talking about all the salt in the sunflowers seeds. boy did I feel stupid! next time I'll know alittle bit more before I post stupid answers, to what I think are stupid questions. :)

Laura the Problem Solver.

when people I know I have problems they always come to me & say oh my god laura I'm going to die, what do I do or laura I messed up big time, fix it! & amazingly 9 times out of 10 I actually know how to help them, but it's up to them whether they take my advice or not. but the other day I was thinking, shocker there, that I really like giving people advice, & I might even want to pursue it as a career. maybe one day I'll be a psychiatrist? I told my friends about it & half of them are totally for it, some even say that they'd come to me... lol ... but others are saying wow that's a lot of schooling blah blah blah, but in my head those years at a university will only help me with what I want to do. College crises are a part of life, & a lot of people learn from the mistakes they made in college... I want to be the one that helps them threw whatever. but really the only thing I care about it helping someone, if i go through all of those years of school, & only help one single person, to me that is totally worth everything I had to go threw to help them. I've heard stories how some psychiatrists just write you a prescription and you are on your way...not this one, I'll actually care about what's happening to you, cause drugs will only dull the pain, not make it go away. I think I can help people, & I honestly believe that God put everyone on this earth for a certain reason, & I'm thinking this is my reason.

I live for the Weekends.

This past weekend my friend Lacey had a little party to celebrate her week long birthday...which is actually this Saturday. We hung out with her family, ate hot dogs & hamburgers, & ate so much candy I thought I would go into a coma. Then on Sunday her dad asked if we wanted to go to the Martina McBride concert...well of course we did! Any concert no matter who it is, you are bound to get a little bit crazy. I had my first funnel cake & my first pronto pup, they were both great! :) but out favorite part about the entire weekend was when Martina sang Don't Stop Believin at the end of her show. I thought I'd die. That is our song! It was the perfect ending to a girls weekend. What can I say?

Glad That Dayyy Is Over.

So on Thursday I got up early to go get my drivers license... well if it's raining or the roads are wet, you can't take your driving test. We get to the DMV (in Olive Branch, the city I live in.)& I don't have my attendance form from school, I am home schooled so there isn't a way to get one. The DMV lady tells my mom to take me to The Board of Education. So we had to drive all the way to Hernando to get my form. There is another DMV in Nesbit. So we get my form & head to the DMV in Nesbit. Well they aren't giving the driving test at 11:15 & if I waited any longer, then it would rain & I wouldn't get to take the test. :( So I drive all the way back to the Olive Branch DMV, praying the whole time that it doesn't rain before I get there. As soon as I pull into the parking lot it starts raining. But we go inside just to see if I can take it.... the lady said that it had stopped raining & they would let me take it today. THANK GOD! I got up at around 8:00 & after all of this running around, it's now 12:00 o'clock. I was nervous the entire morning I hadn't had anything to eat. it was terrible, & this is just the beginning. I get into the car to take the test, I put on my seatbelt, check the mirrors, & off I go. I blame the testing lady for everything because she told me to take a right.....but there wasn't a place to turn on the right, she finally corrects herself & says no I meant left? LADY WTF? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO READ YOUR MIND I AM ALREADY FREAKING OUT OVER HERE & YOU WANT ME TO DO THAT TOO? GAH!
There are 3 entrances into the DMV Parking lot, so when she told me to turn back into the parking lot, I assumed the first one would be fine, NOPE she wanted me to take the third one? AGAIN HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT? I finally get into the parking lot, but I stop to let this lady cross in front of me to go into the library, which is beside the DMV. & the lady isn't yelling but she had a very stern voice that was telling me to always use my blinkers even in a parking lot. So she's freaking me out even more, I don't do well under pressure or nervousness so this was pretty much killing me! I parked crooked, & when I tried to straighten it out there was a car coming behind me, I SAW THE EFFIN CAR LADY! So I said screw it, not out loud cause my momma raised me better then that. I get into the building & I had tears in my eyes, my mom is like did you pass, I was thinking oh God? After all of that I actually passed, can you believe it? yeah me neither. The lady made me freaking cry! gah. (& for the people that don't know me, I am not an emotional person at all it takes alot to make me cry!) worst day ever...but the sad thing was after I left the DMV I had to go to the dentist to get some work done. But I'd rather get my teeth drilled a million times then take that driving test again. :O after that I was fine, I came home, took a nap & ate food finally. let's just say I'm not going back to the DMV ever again.
What can I say?

Can I get a WHAT WHAT?

I am now the proud owner of an 89' Chevy Silverado. IT'S MINE! my dad drove it, my older brother drove it, & now I get to drive it. Me & Old Blue (my nickname for it. lol) have been through alot together.

one time I got really made at my brother I did this to "his" truck!

but it's nice that I am only 15 1/2 & getting a car truck, which is more then I can say for some of my friends who have to pay for their own. now all I have to do is fix it up...which my dad is going to help me do.
More to come on the Rusty Blue Truck Chronicles......

My Truck.

I am having mixed emotions today. My parents are cosigning for my older brother a new truck, & I get his old one. me & this truck have been through a lot. well actually it's been through a lot since it's 20 years old. (89'Chevy Silverado.) it's baby blue, & rusty. has a few dents, a few new tires, & a new engine....so it's not like it's going to break down all the time, but it won't take me on any epic road trips cause I'm pretty sure the whole thing will fall apart if I try that. :) but i'm totally bi-polar about getting this truck....one day i'll be so excited that i'm going to at least have a license & a car to drive! & other days it's like hell's freezing over, because I know my parents have the money to buy me a car, & they don't want to. grr. :O Honestly I think I should be happy that I am at least getting a car which is more then some people can say; & the great thing is that I don't even have a license & the truck is mine. I am going to spruce it up a bit; golly it is 20 years old. My dad is going to help me get it repainted & get the rusty spots removed. & fix a lot of stuff on it so I'll feel better, cause I am scared to death that I'm going to break down one dayyy. :'(
but I am getting a pink emergency kit to put in my toolbox. oh wow I forgot the mention that I have a toolbox on the back of my truck. do you know of any 15 year old girl with a truck & a toolbox on that truck? you do now! lol. my brother is going to help me clean out the truck this Saturday, because it's a mess! & it smells funky too! it needs alot of work done to it, but I'm up for it!
you have to keep in mind that I've almost died in this truck (my brother had the bright idea of playing the "air harmonica" while driving. :P) I've vandalized this truck (I was mad at my older brother so I wrote jerk on the hood with dirt, I still have pictures.)  but I've also had some good times in it too, I can't think of any at the moment but I am pretty sure it's happened before. So this is going to be an ongoing process, every time I add something to my truck I'll update. lol. I can't wait. FREEDOM! :)

The Vma's are back! :)

each year I look forward to the award shows. I love the celebs, the clothes, & all the action that happens.

so the night was supposed to be all about Michael Jackson... or at least it started out that wayyy.  Madonna said a really good speech about the King of Pop & she closed by saying Long Live the King!;  Janet Jackson did a tribute to him..... it was amazing! Katy Perry & Joe Perry from Aerosmith introduced Host Russell Brand with a cover of Queens We Will Rock You! The house-band Wale was a great band. I will definitely be listening to some of there stuff! Kid Cudi even did a tribute to DJ AM with the help of Wale.
The biggest piece of action last night would have to be when Taylor Swift won best female video & Kanye West jumped on stand, took her microphone & practically said Beyonce should have won. It's been reported that he was drunk, & in this picture taken on the red carpet he has a bottle of liquor in his hand! wtf?

Can you be any less professional? Honestly I think this might ruin his career, because when Diddy came on stage to present Best Male Video, won by T.I. who is currently in prison, he said Kanye's name & the crowd booed. oh well, he deserved it, but on his blog he said quote
"I feel like Ben Stiller in "Meet the Parents" when he messed everything up and Robert De Niro asked him to leave...   That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."
let's see how he recovers from this one.
Lady Gaga is always interesting to watch, but last night performance is going to give me nightmares for the rest of my life. Don't get me wrong I love Gaga, & her dare to be different style & music, but looking like Carrie all bloody & hanging from the ceiling looking dead, isn't so great in my book. She got quite a few moon-men so I'd say she doing pretty well. I can't really say I understand why she did all the blood & junk, but it got her alot of publicity. good job! oh & did you know that her date to the vmas was non-other then Perez Hilton! omg he looked good. I haven't checked his blog today, but I am totally sure that he has alot to say about last night.
lol.
Beyonce's single ladies performance was one of the best of the VMA's. There was like a million single ladies instead of the regular three. lol. But Beyonce being the professional that she is gave Taylor Swift the chance to try her acceptance speech again after Kanye ruined it! Beyonce took home Video of the Year, which is the best moon-man of the night. she is really a great role model.
& obviously I can't forget to mention that Green Day rocked the house! Billie Joe told everyone to come on stage during their performance, haha I caught a glimpse of Pete Wentz moshing up there....priceless!
Pink's performance made me want to fly, it was great she is one great performer that I would love to watch over & over again, even though  she & shakira did wear the same outfit.(I hope her & Carey Hart get back together :'( they were great together!)

Last year Russell Brand got into a lot of heat because he made fun of the Jonas Brothers' purity rings, but this year he did very well. I think Kanye did 99% of the dissing. The only thing that got me was JayZ is making his way to Radio City Music Hall right now! as we speak! going on & on & on. I like JayZ, but did he really need all of that! & another thing Alicia Keys was performing with him! Did anyone know that! or did they just fail to tell Russel? Needless to say they were great together, they killed it, but Lil Mama, good God, she had to get up there & try & steal some spotlight cause her Lipgloss is fading away.
All I have to say after watching this year's VMA's is what a night, I can't wait til next year!
What can I say?

GRO ON NFL FOOTBALL!

ok. one of my favorite bands is Green River Ordinance.
so I was watching TV the other day & a commercial for NFL SUNDAY TICKET came on, & I heard GRO's song "outside" playing.... I jumped up, thought my phone was ringing & tried to answer it! turns out GRO's song was used on the commercial. I felt really stupid after that!  I love those guys. very nice people! come back to Memphis soon!
What can I say?

Poor Elton John....Poor Baby.

gosh I feel so bad for Elton John. He wanted to adopt a baby boy from Ukraine, but he can't. & it's only because he's too old & not legally married. (btw he's gay.) (I have nothing against gay people at all one of my close friends is gay, & if he wanted to adopt a child I say go for it!) Lev, the baby boy, is HIV positive too. :'( and the thing is Elton John could help that baby is so many ways. He has the money to support him & help him with all his medical needs too. I don't understand why adoption is so hard, a child needs a good home, & there are people out there that want to provide that for them....if these people would just let them! gah.

Official: No Ukrainian adoption for Elton John. :(

9-11-2001 A Day That Will Always Be In My Heart.

On September 11th 2001, I remember sitting in Mrs. Faust's second grade class working on an assignment. A teacher came in, & started whispering to my teacher's aid, Mrs. Tomlinson. Both Mrs. Faust & Mrs. Tomlinson went into the hallway where all of the teachers where. I guess they didn't want to scare us, by telling us what had happened, but eventually we all found out. Planes had struck the World Trade Center, & many people had died. Being in the second grade, I didn't really understand what was happening, I look back now & I feel guilty because that day I didn't really understand. I was 7 years old, & terrorism was the furthest thing from my mind. After school there was no Arthur or Dragon-Tales it was all about The World Trade Center. My mom turned off the TV, because I started crying, I was so scared that something else was going to happen.
Now 8 years later, I all look back at the people who lost their lives that day. & the families that they left behind. I can't even start to imagine how hard it is for them to watch those twin towers fall year after year, knowing that their loved ones were in there. I stopped to think today about the people who were jumping from the towers. How would you feel if you had to watch your loved one jump to their death every year? They are in my prayers every night. I pray for their closure.
What can I say?

Omg! The Beatles.

I was deprived as a child. :( This past week since The Beatles Rock Band came out I've listened to alot of their music. Before yesterday I'd only heard on Beatles song. that's sad! :'( Now I am proud to say that I am officially A Beatles fan! yay !

I've Always Loved......

I've always loved ART!
so today I am going to start painting again, I always say that i'm not good; but that's not for me to decide is it?
I'll answer that question, no i'll let other people decide for me!
so i'm going to paint; & start sketching again.
to be continued........... picture coming soon.

Sweet Sixteen.

So February 17th is my 16th Birthday, & I wanted to have a huge sweet sixteen, but everyone has a party....why not have a party bus! I haven't really decided what kind of party bus; or where it's going to take me & my friends.
But I told my dad that I wanted to rent one, & he was like how much? & I was like $150 an hour. he was like are you crazy?.................................... and he always goes into speech mode by this time.
"That trip to Disney World for you 14th birthday..how much did you spend on that?"
"about $650........$700..........$750."
"& what tangible thing did you get out of that" (tangible is my dad's favorite word. if it's not tangible then you best just forget it!)
"MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME!"

I don't want to be really cliché & be like gosh! my dad doesn't understand, but this moment calls for the cliche-ness.

what did you do for your sweet 16?

The Newest Addition To My Family.

This is Chester.
He's a garden gnome!
bahahaha.
So me & my friend Holly have always had this thing we were going to do, we were going to buy a garden gnome & randomly put it in someones yard.
when i saw Chester on that lonely shelf @ walgreens Friday night, I knew it was destiny.
but now i'm thinking that he's too cute to give away & put in someone's yard.
so I think i'll keep him; & leave him right here on my desk, by the computer.
What can I say?
oh I just had the best idea: i'm going to take him everywhere & be like Chester in Amsterdam or Chester at the beach. bahaha. done!

Labor Day Weekend.

It's here! Labor Day Weekend. & I'm not doing anything! The Parentals are out of town camping, while me & my older brother are home alone.  PARTY! I scratched that idea out of my mind about 5 seconds after it got there. My parents would KILL me if I ever had a party here. My brother wouldn't care, as long as I cleaned up & he didn't go down with me if I got caught. Let's just say I'm too scared to attempt it, so i'm not. I've only seen my dad's head spin off his shoulders once, & I don't want to relive that!
I so want to start on my schoolwork, but unfortunately I can't. so I am stuck playing farmtown & yoville til monday!  I might start on my research paper, but I don't know..... tell me how your labor day weekend is going.

Poor Little Guy.

You know how like after it rains all those worms come out of their little hiding places and rest on the wet concrete? Then the sun comes out & they dry up & die.
:'(
I hate that! it's really sad. not to mention gross.
well today when my mom got home, she was like look @ that worm, it's the biggest one I think I've ever seen! of course I had to go see, so out I went. & with the fear that Wormy (i named him.) would dry up & die, I saved his life!!!

Rock or Wood; Who can really tell the difference?

So we went to the moon in 1969.
& we brought back this magnificent moon "rock."
well apparently it's not a rock after all, it's really just a hunk of petrified wood???
the Museum in Amsterdam insured this rock-wood for 50,000 euros (71,520 dollars.) but it's only worth about 50 euros. I wonder if they're upset about this?
NASA gave more of this "moon rock wood" to other countries too, how long will it take them to figure it out?
What can  I say?

(looks like a rock to me?)

It' Official.

Bret Favre is old and senile.
You've been playing football for 100 years & still you make illegal blocks?
honestly mister, you need to retire, FOR GOOD this time!
Eugene Wilson's knees could have been seriously hurt? & Favre just walked off the field like whatever, didn't even check to make sure he was ok?
ok I watch football, but I'm not the smartest cookie.
but I do know that a crack-back block is illegal!
The Official NFL Rulebook Says:
**An offensive player who lines up more than two yards outside his own tackle or a player who, at the snap, is in a backfield position and subsequently takes a position more than two yards outside a tackle may not clip an opponent anywhere nor may he contact an opponent below the waist if the blocker is moving toward the ball and if contact is made within an area five yards on either side of the line. (crackback)**
Favre practically just laid down on the field?
come on! can you say attention whore?

The Zoo.

You know that feeling you got when you went to the Zoo for the very first time when you were a kid? The feeling that this is the greatest moment of my entire life! Well I have a confession to make, i'm 15 1/2 & I still get that feeling when I go to the Zoo. Me & my bff Odom, went to the Zoo yesterday and had a blast! Lions, Tigers, Bears...Oh Yessss! I saw a snake eat a rat! which honestly isn't something i should be excited about, but it was an experience. I smelt animal smells that I never want to smell again. & my favorite part was when I came face to face with a Polar Bear through a sniffing slot! Even though the new baby elephant isn't with us anymore. tear. we saw her mommy & she looked good. (this is what happened to our baby elephant.) Odom's favorite part was probably the monkeys...haha...we stood there for about an hour making our monkey noises at them. tehe. till next time....

Woah Baby.

So my latest & greatest obsession is UFC. & pretty much the greatest thing in UFC is the knock-outs. So when I got on Yahoo! this morning & saw this article I knew I just had to blog about it! Fighter Todd Duffee set a new UFC record when he knocked out Tim Hague in SEVEN SECONDS! (& all I'm thinking is holy crap that's fast!) But thing real thing is that Duffee is saying it was six seconds not seven. really? who cares 6 or 7 it's still really fast!  & either way you still beat the standing record.

I Heart Twitter.

I love Twitter. <3 & all the great things that come with it, but today I found my most favorite part. The Over Capacity Picture! It's all these little birdies carrying this huge whale over some water.  just another reason why I love it so much.

Yesterday. :(

Yesterday was a sad day for me.
I found out that Cash Colligan & Ian Crawford are no longer in The Cab.
Cash is getting a fresh start, he's moving out of Las Vegas, according to his Twitter page. Ian is now a touring member of Panic! @ the Disco, because PANIC! @ THE DISCO SPLIT IN HALF! Brendan Urie & Spencer Smith are holding fort @ panic! while Ryan Ross & Jon Walker are starting their new project called The Young Veins.
I loved both of the bands. :'( but I guess I have no choice but to support their decisions & get over it. I will continue to follow all of these guys no matter what. ♫♥♫♥♫♥

I Wanna Live Here!

NYC's 'skinniest' house has fat price tag: $2.7M

(Picture taken in 1939.)

(Picture taken in 2008.)

@ 9 1/2 feet wide this house is the narrowest house in New York City! But it'll cost you an arm & a leg to live there! $2.7 Million Dollars!
It's located in between 75 & 77 Bedford Street in New York's Greenwich Village, it's address is
75 1/2?
it's so small it doesn't even get a whole number. hey guys what about 76, but no! they had to have 75 1/2.
not only is it the narrowest house in NYC, some famous people have also lived there....
Margaret Mead & Edna St. Vincent Millay.

I wanna live here!

Caution: I'm Learning How to Drive!

Yes, you heard me... I'm learning how to drive, so watch out!
you know when you were a kid & you'd sit in your parents lap and drive how much funn it was? well guys, I hate to tell you but driving for real with your parents isn't funn at all!
I got my permit to drive about 5 1/2 months ago, & I guess you could say I haven't been practicing like I should? I want to drive, I really do, but it's freaking scary. all these cars just coming out of nowhere & honking their horns cause you aren't going fast enough or forgetting to turn on your blinker.... ok maybe it's not like that, but for me it's my parents...
watch out for that mailbox, LAURA WATCH OUT FOR THAT MAILBOX!!!
Mom I see the mailbox.
NO YOU DIDN'T YOU WERE GOING TO HIT IT!
Yea Mom, whatever you say.
then she'll yell at me some more & say that I don't have to drive, that it's a privilege.
Honestly?
& then they ask me why I don't like to drive? think about it!
tip of advice, drive with your grandparents.

My grandmother in Alabama was really the first person to let me drive on an actual road. Last Summer we were coming home from church, and she had let me drive around the parking lot a few times so I guess she just decided to let me just drive home. ***they live out in the middle of nowhere, back roads that kind of stuff.*** So here we go, & I'm already freaking out nervous. & I topped this hill, and @ the bottom was A POLICE ROADBLOCK! but by the time you saw them it was too late, you couldn't turn around or stop & switch drivers. My grandma was just like keep going. by this time I was almost hyperventilating. if you knew my memaw (that's what we call her.) you'd know that she's a people person. She can talk her way out of anything. well almost, she's gotten a few tickets for being a "speed demon" which now that I think about it, she's probably not the right person to teach me how to drive. So we get down to the cops & she's all hey there we just came from church.....she was just buttering him up..... & when he asked for an ID, she showed him her ID. & dude was like no, I need hers! well uh oh. I was 14 with no license & no permit. & my memaw was like she doesn't have one, she's only 14.
holy f.
I was about to cry, I was shaking so bad... I didn't know what was about to happen?
The cop started laughing! yes, laughing!
I guess he saw how scared I was, & my grandma was just crazy, so he let us go, but memaw had to drive the rest of the way home. whew!
I didn't drive again until I was 15 & got my permit
and even now I'm still a little freaked out every time I see a cop, it's not that I'm doing anything wrong it's just that they're so intimidating. why can't they just give me a break? my slate is still clean though, no tickets just yet.
